iOS 6 and Xcode 4.5 App Testing

Has anybody started testing iOS 6 yet? The GM has been released and available for download along with Xcode 4.5 Also saw a few post talking about the size of the iPhone 5....in the new Xcode I would have believe that there is a way to test your app in the simulator(won't know till I get home in 3 hours), just like you do for retina iPhone. I will be testing my apps tonight is anyone has any pointers or problems please post on this thread. Thank you

Hey, I tested it on an iPad with IOS 6. So far I only found that the location map screen, if set to show driving locations, instead of opening the new native map app, it opens google maps in safari. I also found that if using the new Xcode, my apps wont even buid and give an error. Cheers.

clear the adbanner error by adding #import <iAd/iAd.h> to the .h file where the error is at the top of the page

from what I understand plenty of muddling around with the twitter and other frameworks. It calls for the Adbanner thingy in Xcode prior to 4.5 I think the code did a good job of searching in it's files to find the the file ADBannerview. The new x code doesnt seem to do this so we have to give a full path for the file, It get's even more complicated AdBannerview.h doesn't get accessed directly it's got to go through iAd.h if you open that up you will see that then imports adbannerview.h . Thus we have to add that to BTview controller. and give the full path which is iAd.framework/headers/iAd.h -----> <iAd/iAd.h> PS i found this out through tinkering and assumptions so it might not be the right reason but it works. We'll have to alert David to this so he can update the control panel downloader/compiler
