CSS-Divs-HTML5

Has anybody tried this? I use Dreamweaver CS6 but of course anything can be used. I am talking about adding a lot of page design and even animation effects for your html 5 page on your app. 1) create a website folder and an html 5 page with css and divs. Just like you set up any website. 2) you now have a images folder, css folder, and really whatever folders you created and functions there in to finish your page build and of course an html 5 page. So lets say your web page is all complete. 3) My html 5 page is now finished and I want it to function in my app just the way I built it on my local side in dreamweaver. 4) I take my main website folder and upload in my BT server folder. The index page and subsequent pages I created for the website with graphics and animation will each be used for independent html 5 pages in the app. 5) I now create my first html 5 screen on the app. I take the code from my website index page or any page within my website build and insert the code in the html area of the app html 5 screen. 6) I adjust any paths where necessary in the code for it to pull all the data. It seems to me with proper css and java or query it is possible for the html 5 app screen to resize for any device as long as you have built your pages with appropriate variations in layout. Is this a beneficial techniquie I have brought before the forum gang? If you have tried it please let me know your results. I will start working on it this weekend so any comments would be helpful Joe

Sounds pretty interesting. If you app is simply HTML screens - no matter how cool of functional they are - getting it thru the Apple review may prove tough. Apple wants apps in their store to have native ios functionality. I think your technique to build some screens is great, but not to build a complete app.
