question about the blog plugin

I'm interested in the blog plugin, but I'm curious about the remote loading of blog posts. I know it says you can do this in the description, but can someone give a bit more detail? Does it look for a RSS feed from an external site, or something else? How do I need to set my website up to feed into the app properly? A screenshot of the plugin settings where you set this up might be nice. Thanks!

Hi Chris, Just got back from my vacation (2 days of driving with no wifi, horrible!!!) If you like to import rss feeds to your app you would need an rss plugin (don't know if that's available at the moment but a quick search on the plugins should give you an answer). Remote files with The Blog Pro Plugin: This means that you can have a separate file, for example myblog_items.txt, with all the necessary child-items in it and put that on some server or dropbox. In the advanced properties, in the screen dataURL you point to that file (myblog_items.txt). It will then load that remote file (for the blog items) instead of reading (the blog items from) the BT_config.txt The advantage of this is that you easily can edit that remote file and the user can pull the page on his phone to refresh and sees the new or edited content. Got it!!? If you're still unsure I can make a screen movie to show you how it works. Feel free to ask if you have more questions. Best Regards, Danny
