Can someone give me some names on self hosted servers? I am having issues with the one I'm with now. The new plugins are not working. It shouldn't be this difficult. I need a self hosted server than can deliver plugins that will function with little trouble.

You're saying new plugins don't work? Do old plugins work?

What version of self-hosted server are you running? The latest 2.1.7 build? Also...can you be more specific than "the new plugins are not working?" Mark

@raveyd, @GoNorthWest: David fixed the problem with the "new" plugins, had to do with the HTTPS protocol that the buzztouchmods.com servers are using. The market plugins were not working with a SSL server. Unfortunately I was unable to get them fixed fast enough for @Trace and he had a meeting to attend to advertise his new plugin features. He has requested to be moved to another self hosted server. (makes sense, unfortunately school / girlfriend / work is very demanding for me right now and he needs someone who can handle things promptly) @Trace is genuinely a great guy and he will pay well for services - if anyone would like to take him in send me a email and I will help get your server set up with his old self hosted configurations and apps - free. @TraceCampbellBSNRN: I spent a few hours today debugging and fixing three plugin on the server you're on. Not sure what other issues your having? The issues today were related to the way that servers handles the http"S":// protocol. I can say that self hosting is for the technically savvy and experienced web administrator. It's not for everyone. If you're looking for a host that offers a package that can run the control panel, you'll literally have thousands of choices. If you're looking for a host that can run the control panel, and is familiar with the buzztouch approach, I don't know anyone other than @MrDavid.
