Does messing with the Xcode project after submission affect anything?

So my app is live in the market. I have been messing around in Xcode working with an update. Now my app seems very laggy, could it be from me messing around in Xcode? Are things hosted in Xcode?

No, changes would only happen if working in control panel to a live app.

Only the changes made on the bt_config file through your control panel make direct changes to the app which is live on the app store or the play store. If you make any changes either in .m or .h files in the Xcode, that wont effect the live app until and unless you put an updated binary file on the app store.

Here is was I don't understand tho. I changed a menu tab in my BT control panel and it refreshed in the app and the change took place (great). When I went to download the same app on a different phone it had the old menus... The change did not affect the new download. Does changing the app in the control panel just affect the users that currently have the app?

Actually all you have to do is hit the refresh button on top of the nav bar. Once you hit it the apps content sync to the changes made on cp. This should happen automatically when you launch your app but sometimes it doesnot work. All you need to do is hot refresh button to get the latest contents in the app which are made through the cp.

Yes, some will some wont. It would be helpful to your users to inform them that they should hit the refresh button the once they download the app to get the latest contents. This can be done either by having a new screen where you put a note about the updates and inform them that for minor updates they wont need to install a new version but all they have to do is refresh the app oftenly. similarly a splash screen or other background image with a note to refresh the app would be helpful.

True story. Someone also suggested adding a line at the top of your App Store app description saying: *Please refresh for latest content*
