Using video as primary content for app

Hello, I have several apps that I would like to build in the health field that are "how to" apps and I would like to use video as a large part of the content. There is not a video plugin for V2. I have seen reference to being able to stream video in 1.5. Would that be the best version to use to build video apps? Will video stream from any hosting service that is optimized for mobile? thanks a lot for any help

Hello, I have done a lot of apps with videos you can check them all here : www.photoserge.com/apps I did it with 1.5 and embedded video. Never manage to get streaming to work. I only did IOS so far embedded video and sell are good. However I wanted to do the same thing with android and with android you cannot embed the videos due to size limitation (my apps are around 300 mg), I'm starting and struggling to get it to work on Android. I have similar apps that are video centric. One is BT 1.4 and the other is BT 1.5. The 1.4 plays the videos perfect. In 1.5 it's a little buggy (the audio continues after going back to a menu. I'm working on it!). I use YouTube and Bits on the Run (for premium content) to host my videos. They all play fine over the air. I tried to build the BT 1.5 app for Android but I gave up. Too many problems with videos and other issues. At the moment I'm working on a self hosted app that will have video in it as well. I'll try hosting my own video and let you know how it works.
