My App

I am so lost and eclipse is giving me errors just trying to do the "hello world" app. Basically I'm trying to build an app to help contractors give on the spot bids so I'm starting now just with drywall then add more later. I can't figure out how to create a calculator to give me L x W = A and buttons on it. I started building a database so they can add and keep clients saved with Access and I do have an account with mysql. Anybody want to help? I will pay but I'm in a wheelchair so fixed income. Please!!!

Hi in IL. You've mentioned quite a few things here. Eclipse errors, calculators, mysql databases....I imagine you're getting frustrated. Lets get back to the Hello World idea. You'll need to be able to get your machine compiling the most simple Android app or you'll end up more frustrated. Have you see @GoNorthWest's "Setting up for Android" doc? You'll need to somehow find a way through this, and understand (at a basic level) how Eclipse compiles source code into an app before moving on the calculators, drywall databases, or other complex ideas. You may get some takers on your offer to hire someone...not sure. But, even if you do, it'll be worth your while to figure out why your Eclipse package won't compile and Android app.

"keytools" are not downloaded, they are included in the Android SDK. Did you get the Android SDK installed on your machine?
