There are a few ways to navigate where it "should" remember your grid or list view preference. However, in many cases, such as using the "back" button or the "screens" link it's lost. The idea is that you would use the "breadcrumbs" (links showing you where you came from) to navigate back-n-forth between the list of screens and individual properties for each screen. We recognize that this is not ideal and do hope to improve this at some point :-) Comments Yup, good idea.
