This application is available to over 0 devices

Not sure if this the correct location but I am on my way attempting to publish my first app through Google Play. I got as far as this section: Supported Devices- It says that this application is available to over 0 devices ...and is defined in your application manifest. Does it really mean what it says? It works find on my Droid 2! Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Howard

Am I missing something? I do not see the "show devices" link in the Developer Console!

Do I have publish or activate the app first before I can define the devices?

Thanks @arubaman, I wish it did. I have stared at that document for so long. I don't seem to have the link where they say "simply click the “Show devices” link". Oh how I wish it was "simple" :-)

This application is only available to devices with these features, as defined in your application manifest. Screen layouts: SMALL NORMAL LARGE XLARGE Required device features android.hardware.location.network android.hardware.screen.portrait android.hardware.touchscreen android.hardware.wifi This application is available to over 1551 devices. This is what one of my published apps shows, I never had to define it, but it does let me exclude devices. At worst you can publish it and check back to see if it made changes, if not you can always unpublish it and try to fix it.

This is weird but I have noticed some browsers report different numbers than others. See if that info screen says the same thing using Firefox or Chrome.

I am using FF, I will try IE though. So if I publish it with it 0, I can un-publish it? This is my first app publishing.

There's gotta be something wrong in your manifest. The only other time I've seen this is when the Market had a problem. Just checked a couple of my apps and they say 1601 devices so that's probably not it. I can take a look at your manifest if you'd like, probably something easy. Just sent you a message with my email. You can unpublish or just update it when we fix the manifest or whatever is wrong. Don't sweat it, it is probably a simple fix. With the "0 devices" definition the app won't appear in the market to download on any mobile device so nobody should get a broken app.

Just so the thread is complete... The Market will show 0 devices until the .apk is uploaded AND activated. Tim

For all those that are following, thank you @WolfTimJ for helping me out. It was that the app was not activated. Didn't realize that I had to do that! Once done, 1557 devices were available!:-) thanks again for all the help
