PDF Forms

Has any body got any thoughts on the following. I want my pdf to allow for text impute. So my client can have there pdf form filled out within the app and then forward it from the app to an email address that is set in the control panel. Any thoughts on this one? Joe

Not gonna happen...damn. .PDF is an Adobe technology. NONE of the mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, etc) support editable / form based .PDF docs. This means you'll need to engineer a different solution if you want to support text input. You can easily test this. Email a .PDF to somebody with a mobile device. Have them open the attachments. It won't be editable even though it IS editable on a regular computer. This is because the Adobe software used to "view" and "edit" the document is different on their PC and their mobile.
