Issue buying Market Credit using debit card?

I am having trouble using my (MasterCard) debit card to buy market credit. I keep getting a "Transaction Declined" message (and yes, there's money in the account). Any known issues with debit card providers?

Its seems that the https protocol on buzztouch is not working for the moment...Sure this will be sorted out before bedtime but better to wait. It could explain why your card is not being processed.

Warren My AMEX was declined yesterday. Visa accepted. Purchased plugins appear in Control Panel. Unable to create a new screen with one. Not in the drop down list. The BT Team will sort it out in time. Life on the edge is challenging sometimes. Mike

Debit cards should work, I'll look into this and see if I can find a reason they would not? Dunno, Authorize.net, the card processor, "claims" they do. LOL. We don't keep card numbers and can't tell if it's debit, visa, mastercard, whatever. Looking...

Hey, whatya' know, labor day and we're the only folks working. Authorize.net isn't available in person until tomorrow. Bummer. I'll stay on the debit thing until it's resolved.

David- When you talk to them, you may let them know that my bank uses the "Shazam" system. For some reason it works in some places and not in others

David, credit card is heating up for the first 3 premium plugins but when I go to the buy credits on the plugin market, the transfer is in clear, not crypted. No go for me putting my card number on a non https payment .

Update: We've been on hold with our payment processor for days. Literally. Dudes are super lost on the debit card / Amex issue. Both of these card types are declined SOMETIMES but not always. Sigh. They have assured us that they have "figured it out" and expect debit and amex to begin processing "normally" (their word, funny) within 48 hours. I'll post again here if something changes.

Ok...cool, funny thing is I realy do want to depart with my money! It's hyper important to support the first plugings. Pretty please take my money. But no ssl for the moment. If I don't use a secured payment system (https), my bank refuses my card and I can't buy. Is there another way to pay ? Paypal ?
