There's been a bunch of suggestions for the Plugin Market, and I wanted to bring a few of those to this thread, and welcome others to do the same. 1. Tested on Self Hosted Servers or "Self Hosted server compatible" icons, buttons, etc. Unless they all will work on self hosted servers? I wasn't sure exactly since I know the notepad plugin did not for a few days (it does now!). 2. Top 15 rated plugin, Top 15 downloaded plugins, Top 15 reviewed plugins. etc. 3. A LIST view of plugins, and in this list view, the ability to organize them by price and rating. I can only imagine that when a bunch of new plugins start rolling out, the buttons will make the page pretty big, and a list view (with icons?) would be appreciated :) 4. Uninstall purchased plugins. Sometimes someone may buy and not like the plugin they purchased, and rather just not see it anymore. The ability to install it for free later (and newer versions) would be possible. 5. The ability to modify the description and icon on the market for your plugin? (for plugin developers only) - not sure if we can do this already? But did not see a option for Description or Screenshots during my plugin submissions. 6. Write Review Link. When trying to review a plugin I had just purchased, I couldn't understand why there was no link where the "You can write a review if..." text. I assumed that text would disappear and a submit review link would appear if I had accomplished all of the requirements. I managed to find the link on the sidebar after some eyeball movement to the left. :) 7. Review rewards, leaving a review should result in some points, giving encentives for users to provide (hopefully) constructive feedback to plugin developers. 8. This might be wrong, but it would be great during the submission process to have a direct link to how you would like plugins submitted (documentation on correct structure?) I couldn't find it myself. Some other features: 1. It would be great if in the email options, a "email me whenever a new thread is made in my market plugins" could be added. 2. Clicking my account, clicking installed plugins, scrolling down a huge list, clicking my market plugin, then clicking market options. Way too much clicking - is it possible to have a new link for "my market plugins" instead of "installed plugins" so we can have some separation? 3. The ability to sticky and delete threads from your market plugin forums would be awesome, and a good way to make market plugin developers get information out there to their customers.
