I wanted to develop an app for that will be used to control different devices in your home( lights , garage....ect)through wifi or using gsm signals. i was looking for any ideas or suggestions regarding this project and what would be the best way to approach it. please guys, thank you. As @Fred says, nothing original in home device apps. What about licensing and compatibility issues too? Pretty much everything in the home is proprietary to some company or other.
