Hi LA, This is an easy fix. Highlight your project in the Package Explorer frame...right-click and go to the bottom and select Android Tools. Then pick Fix Project Properties. Give it a second to complete, and you're done! Mark

Yep, those are the default apps that your emulator will have! Kinda messy, I agree. Did your app launch?

If it works, you should see something like this in the Console screen: [2012-09-01 15:58:38 - buzzTouch] New emulator found: emulator-5554 [2012-09-01 15:58:38 - buzzTouch] Waiting for HOME ('android.process.acore') to be launched... Hi LA, Let's work on the API stuff first. You can launch the SDK Manager without going through Eclipse by going to the folder (probably c:\Program Files\Android SDK on Windows) and clicking on the SDK Manager.exe program. Then try updates from there. Sometimes if you launch it from Eclipse, some folders seem to get locked, which prevents an update from happening. Mark

The only one you really need is Android API 2.2/Google API 8. You can deselect all the other ones. Looks like you're trying to install Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean! Mark

When u start the emulator, what is the first thing you should see your app? Every time I just see its charging and the time.

You have to pull the slider open to "unlock" the emulator. Then your app should be present, or there at least should be an icon on the desktop or whatever they call it in Android! :-) Mark

OK, you're making progress! Yep, just pull it to the right. If you have a black screen, it suggests that your configuration data file is out of sync. Here's a video that shows you what to do about that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp2vL1XCPC0 See if that helps things out. You can also use the Menu button on the Emulator (can't recall exactly what it looks like...near the key that looks like a house) and do a "Refresh All App Data" to see if that downloads the current config file. Mark

My source code looks nothing like the vid in my downloaded one. It's very large and not formatted like the vid or the online source code...any suggestions?

Follow the guide to Android that I sent you, and which is also available in the How-To section. It'll show you exactly what to do! With pictures! Mark

It's running. Are you sure you have a Home Screen specified? And did you sync your config files?
