!Sorry - Application stopped unexpectedly...

Well, it seems I still have ALOT to learn... I was working a previous layout issue when my HTML made one of my Screen/Actions stop responding in BT... so I deleted the screen and from there have had several issues and now the ultimate result of.... "! Sorry Application stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I have tried to delete the app and rebuild it, delete it from eclipse/computer and re-import it, clear my cache... I don't know what i did and i really don't know how to go about trouble shooting it to fix the error. Thanks.

would there be any documentation on how to compile HTML in eclipse? Compile or create? The HTML is not compiled, that's why the HTML docs go into the Assets folder. Items in the assets folder are not compiled. You can create a HTML doc in Eclipse or use any text editor. Fred

"Load it into my app..." I wanted to create HTML to customize the view of the page. I was using the HTML/Text screen and the editor in BT to create the HTML via the source (?) view... the HTML didn't seem to reflect well and at one point i couldn't override or fix the code. "Compile or create" ...after switching to an HTML screen there is an option to load a compiled HTML from xcode or eclipse... this is why i thought there may be documentation on compiling HTML in eclipse... maybe this isn't the best option... any suggestions?

..after switching to an HTML screen there is an option to load a compiled HTML from xcode or eclipse. Not familiar with that option. Perhaps you're not phrasing it correctly. Remember the HTML is not compiled . I wanted to create HTML to customize the view of the page. I was using the HTML/Text screen and the editor in BT to create the HTML via the source (?) view... The online editor has it's features and limitations. It's but one editor of possible editors. Coffee Cup, Jota, Dreamweaver, . . . Fred

Actually I use several. On my device JOTA In Eclipse or has it's own editor (or uses the one that Windows 7 provides) Coffee Cup is highly recommend. Dreamweaver is good but cost money. You can also use the online WYSIWYG Editor in the Custom HTML Text screen / plugin and copy and paste to a HTML Doc. I use the Wordpress editor for creating code for images.

I use Notepad++, nice program. Formats the code, highlights opening/closing elements, accepts multiple languages and it's free! If used with firefox you can use firebug to tweak the code/css almost like a wysiwyg editor then paste the code back into ++. Cool. Think you can do something similar in chrome.
