'this device doesn't support SMS'

When I add the Share via SMS screen to my app and click on it on the iPhone simulator in Xcode it says 'this device doesn't support SMS' can anyone help me with this? Is it just that it doesn't work in Xcode on the simulator but it works on the final product?

Correct. SMS feature only works on an actual device.

That's the major difference between the iOS Simulator and the Android Emulator. The Simulator doesn't have the ability of an actual device, it only appears to look like the device. The Emulator actually emulates an actual device. Therefore you must test iOS apps in an actual device to see how they will actually function. Fred

Cheers, is there any way of actually loading an app on to a device without paying getting it in to the app store (presuming i'm using Xcode and have an iPhone)?
