Android "Tab Bar" icon reference guide: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_tab.html Use that guide to make them the right size, copy them to the res/drawable folder and specify the 'image' name of your icons for the "Tab bar" of you tab layout in the CP. NavBar Title should be one of the option in the CP.

1) res/drawable for images on small devices 2) navbar title size settings are going to be in an XML layout file. you'll have to do some searching. I've never been able to mod it, but I haven't tried that hard either. Check this guide out - it'll answer a lot of questions: (and don't forget to flip that burger!) http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2011/06/30/designing-for-android/
