Idea: Samsung devs should make buzztouch plugins.

Sorry Samsung, it's been a tough day. But, we're happy to help your gang learn how to make buzztouch plugins. We won't charge you $1.5 billion, we promise. We see it like this. You guys are experts at taking existing ideas, tweaking them a bit, making improvements, then offering them to an audience. We embrace this kind of creative thinking. As long as you offer genuine value, it's fair game in our world. We don't consider moving something forward to be "theft" or "infringement" like some of our friends. We call it progress. We promise to show you something great you can begin with, a sort of "pre-built-canvas" you can use, without having to spend 3 years making. Then, when you think you've got something neat to share, let us know, we'll show you how. Send inquires to: [email protected] and we'll take it from there.

Hilarious! That $1.5bn might just save Apple. #StillLaughing The Google memo is priceless. 'Can you make it look a bit less like Apple products' Boom!

Just for the record I think the whole patent thing is nonsense. Stifles innovation but we live in a litigious society now so....

Interesting how South Korea just ruled that they both infringed on each other's patents! Crazy stuff! It'll be seriously interesting to see how this changes the market. It seems as though it would force some innovation...but how can you "improve" on the screen bounce or squeeze pinch stuff? Mark

Ok....just my two cents here. I watched South Korea came out of being a third world country into a multi billion platform for electronics, automobiles and kimchie <ok first two> As american G.I.'s we used to make fun of models such as Kia & Goldstar when they first came out ...now look...it's flipping so amazing. I do love my Apple but this patent thing is so silly. Come on people good thing good ole Jobs stole <ahem> got great ideas from Xerox and played with flippen phone box's. There would be no Apple.... is it just me our this a bunch of patent lawyers measuring their....uhem... All I can say this will be interesting to watch for sure

The irony in all of this is... Does Apple now get discounts from Samsung on semiconductors since Samsung manufacturers half of Apples components. One being the A5 chip. :). What a messed up relationship that is.
