Delete my app's Control Panel ID

Hi Guys, I have an app live on the App Store after a successful review by Apple. However, i would like to delete the app's control panel ID at my self-hosted buzztouch panel to prevent accumulated back-end requests. Is my app going to stop working? Thanks a lot.

You want to make your app offline? Meaning that any changes on the control panel will not reflect in the app. If you do this, you can only make new updates, by submiting an update to Apple, and it will stop the requests to buzztouch.

Yes i'm trying to make changes to the app but i don't want users to see them as i change it so that when all changes are finalised i will be able to create an update to the app and submit it to the App Store. I'm doing the right way, right? My concern is the maps menu since i have plenty of location screens on it. I had a screen data URL on that menu, will it stop working?

You should follow this. But if you have already submited the app to App store with the config file pointing to buzztouch, you should first send in a new update to app store, with the config file hosted elsewhere. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=9C328CF2FECD09149E54E09&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=&createdBy=fred&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory=

And give this a read to make sure you understand online vs. offline and the many implications! http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Understanding_App_Refresh_and_Offline_Apps_v1.0.pdf Mark
