Changing the default directory to store files for BT app

I want to avoid this from being backed up. I was thinking of changing the default directory to something else. I looked into BT_filemanager.m where the path points to Documents directory. If we change occurences of NSDocumentDirectory with some other directory, will it serve my purpose? Please let me know. Also i don't see a directory called /tmp in the filesystem.
