Build 200+ content screens in BT or run HTML screens externally?

Hi, I'm creating an app and part of that app is based on a menu structure with branches. So something like this: + Top level - Menu 1 + Submenu 1 - Submenu 2 + nextmenu 1 - next menu 2 - Another menu 1 - HTML content + Another Menu 2 + Menu 2 + Menu 3 etc.. The lowest level will be the HTML content page which will eventually be 100-200 of them (as screens). I've already played around with basic structures for the other parts of the App and I've already reached 60+ screens and it's starting to get pretty messy already (layout wise in BT). So my options are to continue with this and end up with 250+ screens or just throw the whole thing into separate files and have jquery handle the menu structure. Would rather use custom html screens so someone can edit the WYSIWYG and content is already stored in app (quicker access). Has anyone had this dilemma before? Any suggestions on the better way to go? - Hosted externally. Thanks! :)

I've accomplished similar results with my List Menu Tool http://idevdepot.com/list-menu-tool/ Basically, it can be used to create list menus that lead to content, such as HTML docs, Word, PDF, etc. You could use the tool to save the creation of many screens by creating them "dynamically", and then you'd just have to setup the nesting in your control panel. This works better when the end "branch" contains a lot of screens. You can also see the "Phone Tree" option in the List Menu Tool, which allows 2 levels of menu, leading to a list of phone screens. This could be modified to lead to different types of screens. If you have any more questions, let me know.

Hi Stobe, I've actually purchased your list menu tool but I thought it wasn't working with BT2.0 at present? Sorry, should've mentioned earlier I'm creating this in BT2.0 Thanks! :)

Would rather use custom html screens so someone can edit the WYSIWYG and content is already stored in app (quicker access). The Custom HTML Text screen is stored online on the control panel. HTML Doc screen allows you to either have doc online or embedded. Fred

@Fred > The Custom HTML Text screen is stored online on the control panel. > HTML Doc screen allows you to either have doc online or embedded. Yep aware of that. Just trying to find the best/simplest way of organising/approaching an app with a few hundred content screens.

Given the ability to search and manipulate the DOM in HTML I would use HTML instead of going native. Fred
