What if link to document changes after publishing app?

Hello, I am working on a new version of my app (which goes from BT 1.4 to BT 2.0). My app is mostly PDFs, and in 1.4 I uploaded them to Buzztouch, and Buzztouch served them to my app. I'm seeing in 2.0 that I have two choices: embed them in my app, or link to them. I would prefer to link to them, but worry about what happens if a link changes. If the link to one of my PDF changes, can I change the link via the BT control panel and my users won't see any difference, or would I have to recompile and publish the app for the new link to work? GoNorthWest buzztouch Evangelist Posts: 8197 Reg: Jun 24, 2011 Oro Valley, AZ 1,000,000	08/17/12 08:57 AM (13 years ago) Most changes you make in the control panel don't require a recompile, unless you are adding media/code that you want bundled with the app. So, if you change the URL to a file, users will be prompted to refresh their app as @Fred mentions, but they'll be none the wiser on the new location!
