Wow, this is really moving along..... This will be very handy to see before you package up stuff. The support angle is one i'm very interested in hearing. All this new stuff is keeping me up pretty late too. Amazing how fast that clock moves. Spent last few days now trying to connect my plug-ins to the CP and using JSON. Progress! Q: What about plug-ins that leverage other open source frameworks and libraries? say like Three20 or Tapku for instance. Any differences with these on the market? Is it acceptable and expected that some plugins are to going to say 'first import the Three320" library into your project?

OK folks, finally got a document for you to review, edit, find typos, and otherwise help polish. The idea is that this will stimulate comments and questions about the plugin creation process and selling in the plugin market. It's not about literally "how to code a plugin" - for sure there are tons of ways we imagine helping you learn this in the future. But, today, it's about helping us get this thing going. You've helped tons already...read the doc...you'll see what we're rolling out. Unless you say otherwise and help us find / fix some obvious omissions, we're going with the info and concepts in the .PDF. How Tos > Plugins Creating, Sharing Selling Or just grab this a tall drink, it's long! http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/bt-plugins-creating-sharing-selling.pdf

Excellent Minor fixes: Page 11, item #2: fix "of" to read "off" Page 13, item #15: change "copyrighted material", "to copyrighted material used in violation of copyright law" Page 14, paragraph after item 4, first sentence needs rewording Fred

Last week it a a free bug game when I woke up SAT... This week it's forget the AM paper in favor of an AM TOS! Good thing there is a couple of weeks before College Football season starts... Thanks for clarifying the 3rd party stuff. Perhaps we need to add a note/field that developers must state the EXACT version of the 3rd party SDK and maybe a location where they obtained it? I've used forks of some libraries and I'm not sure if they will remain in the same spot/version on gihub. I've had to go out and hunt for the proper SDK to work with tutorials I've followed. I keep the libraries stored and reference them by header search paths - but that is not going to work the same way on other peoples systems. Copying libraries/projects into projects can be tricky - it's different for each one. I'd also be interested to know if the code used in a plug-in has passed the APP store review? (maybe Google, but no so much) I'm trying to get a couple packaged up and sent thru the process before I even think about selling it to someone else via BT. I'l be thinking the same on some plug-ins I purchase. Thanks for putting this together and for the BT Rosetta Stone lessons this week. Just the stuff I've been waiting for. Many thanks to all the BT staff!! I hope you guys get slammed with great code and reap some serious benefits from the user base you have trained so well for FREE. time for some 'The Payback" James Brown style!

@Atrain great suggestions, a little check mark for "proven to be approved by the app store" would be useful, however, you never know, apple tends to change it's mind a lot, and people might buy the plugin thinking it's still good to go for apple, when it might not be. Thinking how this could be fixed..? @David awesome. PDF looks good from my first read. @Jawdoss, count down begins today! Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

Well this is very great news. Only downside for me is that when the plugin market will open I'm unavailable for 2 weeks, right from that openingday........ Timing couldn't be better...... Best Regards, Danny

^^ no problem, with all that we have learned about building these plug-ins collectively - I'm hoping we can try and support them collectively! I'm already envisioning themes and uses for that BLOG plug-in in my head. Just leave us some notes and give us all a couple of weeks to tinker with it while you think of the next one on a 2 week vacation in Hawaii (I hope) Good stuff, hoping to get some wrapped up as well and see what others have cooking!
