iOS to Android- How easy?

Hi guys How easy is it to make the App available for Android ? I have had average/good sales on my iOS app and wanted to venture out onto the Android but 1) i don't have an android device to be able to test the app and 2) i have no idea how to upload the App Is there a step-by-step guide to get it onto the Android market and if so, is it cheap for a developers licence and do you generally get many sales on android ? thanks in advance

The Buzztouch Process, found at www.MySkylla.com is my online guide to creating apps. No developer license required. Only a one time $25 registration fee for Google Play if you wish to distribute in Google Play, formerly known as Android Market. Google Play is but one of various android markets. You can also distribute in your own . Fred

It's been said many times on here, people are more receptive to paying for apps on Apple. Average/good sales on Apple MIGHT equate to poor/very poor sales on Android. If you find that's the case it might be worth considering putting it out as a free app and have banner advertising = more downloads and residual earnings indefinitely.

Yes, it might equal poor/very poor sales, then again it may not. http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2929612 Fred

The Android market is very different. Most apps do better on the App Store, but I had one app that did much, much better on Android. It was an app targeting math students at a college level. It isn't really harder than Xcode, just different. If you are able to do one you can do the other. I'm not saying that either one is easy.
