Add Images to Android App

Hi All, How would I add images to my Android App? (In iOS, there is a BT_Images folder, in Android, I can not find one). The images that I am trying to add are: Tab Bar Images, and Screen Background Images. Thanks, Jake

Are they case sensitive?

Yes all the images are case sensitive. However remember one thing the image names should be a-z and 0-9 only no caps.

The older version of BT came with default set of icons which were max sized at 25x25 and not more than that. I have not included any images other than the default icons for tab. Try playing around with different sizes, you might find out what max size of an image can fit properly on tab.

In the BT control panel, do I have to set the images to all lowercase, or can I just put the actual files in lower case?

You have to set the names of images to lowercase at both the BT cp and the actual image files.

Is there a way with the BT_Config.txt to disable it from trying to refresh the app?

Yes. Following the following step: Go to the Core Properties---> Report to Cloud URL and clear the link and save.

Is that the same thing as the "dataURL"?

Sort of. When the app launches it attempts to "report" to this URL. The primary purpose of this URL is to check for content updates. If updates are found end-users will be prompted to "refresh." Leave this Report to Cloud URL blank if you don't want to check for updates.

Do you know of any good PDF reader apps? Possibly one that works well with BT?

I have never used pdf files in any of my projects but have seen few bt apps using it. Are you creating project for android or ios? In case you are creating android project, try custom url screen plugin and host your pdf files somewhere like your server or dropbox and link them with the custom url.

I am working with Android. The URL idea seems not to work (oddly enough). Is it possible to bundle a PDF reader with my app. For example, when my app installs, it would also install a PDF reader?

I was wondering if it is possible to rename the "Open With..." button in the PDF reader plugin with Android BT2.0.

When my app refreshes, it crashes. How would I resolve this? (BT 2.0)
