Error in BT-SERVER

I have installed BT-Server and uploaded Custom HTML/TEXT plugin. Then i create a new screen with custom html then after that i have edited the screen by writing simple text and changed its colour. When i reopen the screen i found that the colour which i had changes that turns to Black automatically and also in buzztouch.com when i create a custom html then there is no such problem infact i can drag and drop images in custom html screen but here in BT-Server i can't do. I think there is a problem with ckeditor . . plaese help me to fix it

1) Values being "lost": The self hosted plugin for Custom HTML / Text does have a but in that it matter which "order" you save the values. Try this: Add some text or html, click the SAVE button directly under the text area where you entered the text. Next, adjust an advanced property, any of them, click SAVE under that property. It should save OK and all the value should remain when you return to the screen. We think the trouble with the plugin is FIRST saving an advanced property value, THEN saving the text / html. If you do it this way, the text will probably be gone. We've looked at this a few times and haven't nailed it down. But, for sure it's related to the order that you use save. Drag-n-drop: I would be surprised if you could "drag and drop" images into the ckeditor in either self hosted or buzztouch.com hosted. It's not designed to allow this. It could be that you're simply "pasting" the HTML to the <img> tag when you drag, not sure. I would not rely on dragging and dropping.

i have followed what you said but no positive result. . . when i save this HTML <span style="color:#008000;"><strong>Its a Test</strong></span></p> then when i re-opened that screen then it give output like this :- <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \\\"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN\\\" \\\"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd\\\"> <html> <head> <title></title> </head> <body> <p> <span style="\&quot;color:#006400;\&quot;"><strong>Its a Test</strong></span></p> </body> </html> ................................................. you can see in the html code there is code "\&quot;" automatically appear. and for images, i had gave only example of drag and drop. when i manually add image though html then also image does not come after saving.

Not sure what you're running into then. You'll need to do some debugging to try to figure out how your PHP configuration is handling this. save_AJAX.php (in the custom HTML plugin folder) is the file that does the saving. In save_AJAX.php file... 1) Line 63 begins by grabbing the html text from the form post. The variable "editorContent" holds the value of what you entered in the ckeditor. 2) Line 198 is where the value is saved to the file system. An HTML file is saved to the files system for the app. The value in the ckeditor is NOT saved to the database, it's saved as a regular html file in the /files/applications/[app id]/documents directory. You can see where this happens on line 198. Have a look at that file, it should contain VALID html, not html full of /// or ";quote" etc. If it contains those characters, you've got PHP configuration with magic_quotes, or some other function changing the value posted from the form to save_AJAX.php

Even i downloaded fresh / Updated Plugins and BT-Server v2.1.7 from Buzztouch then also same problem. I think it is problem with BT-Server source code.

@Yash Kumar: There isn't a problem with the source code. This is not related to the version of the self hosted software you're using. There isn't a problem with the host you're using. It's related to the way your PHP configuration is setup. The Custom HTML / Text plugin your using save the values POSTED (http form post) in the entry area to a simple text file on your server. if the text file on your server isn't being saved with the same values entered in the box, you'll need to look into your server configuration. Tip: Look at how you server handles magic_quotes. The file you'll want to look into and do your test in is mentioned in my previous post. If you're unsure how PHP works, don't know how your backend is configured (regarding magic_quotes) and can't debug this on your own, you'll need to find a developer to help you.
