Questions about publishing applications on Google Play

I signed up on Google and Play seems that now I must prepare my application before uploading. You must add a license verification. Could anyone tell me how to do this? Need to add something else in the application? I want to sell my application. I have to wait for the approval of my application or not needed? Thanks

You must add a license verification. Where do you encounter this question?

Thank you, Sandeep.I will read all this stuff, but I would like a quick response and objective information on all that is needed to market or distribute the application on Google Play. I will use as a reference and then find out about the methodology of each item of the process.

First of all other than the app binary i.e the apk file you will need atleast 2 screenshots of your app with any of these size 320 x 480, 480 x 800, 480 x 854, 1280 x 720, 1280 x 800 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha). Then a High Resolution Application Icon:512 x 512 32 bit PNG or JPEG. Further you will have to write a Description in English about your app. And since you want to charge for your app, you must have a Google Merchant Account. In your profile on bt you have written you live in BR. I take this as Brazil. Brazil is one of the few countries from which the developers can sell paid apps.

Are you talking about the exporting the signed application? You will have to prepare a keystore for that. Your debug keystore was created automatically for you the first time you built an Android app. For a production signing key follow instructions in the following link: http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html

@RB I completely agree with @Fred on this. I have never seen anything like license verification.

At this very moment there is no need for that. In case you intend to copy protect your app you can choose to turn on the copy protection feature in the Publishing Option section.
