Invoice/Quote page for Tradesman etc

Hi As the heading suggests I need help on how I would achieve the above.. I am making an app for my home business that would incorporate a screen that has an editable quote/invoice page so I can fill in quotes or invoices outside the office.. I have been trying for days to work it out but to no avail :( Any ideas ?

there is an IMMENSE number of different ways you could achieve this, and almost as many different things that influence what path you take, are you planning on having the data accessible by other computers (one at home, another office etc) - do you want print funtionality from the iphone/iPad, do you want email functionality to be able to fill in an invoice and then email it directly to a contact. Is it to be a "Template" style where the fields are able to be filled, but not changed eg. Company Name, ABN, Phone, or is to be a "Excel" style page where you add/remove whatever fields/data you want. Alot of info is needed and alot of options considered here before making a decision i think. Cheers, Dave

Cheers Dave for replying The things I would like to do with this are 1- Print would be nice 2- Email the form also ( I can just do this straight with the document functions within BT ?) 3- Template style would be ideal with the headings - a) Company/Customers name b) ABN ( mostly aussie though?) c) Phone d) Email e) Quote price f) Quote Information 4- Would there be a way for the to directly input the information onto the quote screen from an existing Customer from my native Contacts list? I am new to all this so I am having problems with being able to link the native contacts list to this app also :( Would it be best to have a standard Template for the quote form or use an excel standard where the person who uses the app can change the fields to suit them? Cheers Greg

the ABN field could just be "COmpany Number" - aking it possible to be used anywhere. There is an app that will do most of what you say, i used to use it a few years ago when i myself was a sole trader. http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/invoice2go/id322773082?mt=8 otherwise i can have a play around and see what is possible. Yup I saw that APP the other day.. This Quote screen that I want to use is part of a "bigger " app that I want to create with more functions other than a plain invoice .. I am just stuck on the main core lol which is the quote screen
