Self help app for mobile devices and website - please advice

The self-help app I plan to create has a simple idea. Seven buttons in mobile devices are offering a stream of suggestions from a database, which could be edited by the users. The app should run in the website, iOS and Android devices. The final programs should be easily updated any time and with the different title for different databases. I described the idea of the app and show the video of power point prototype at my website http://ParentingForEveryone.com/feel-good-app/ I would appreciate if you give me suggestions for improvement of the architecture, logic, technical details and design. With this in mind I would like to ask you guys, how easy would be the implementation? Do you clearly see what I want or do I need to explain better? what exactly is not clear. Thank you in advance

Hey there, Loved the video on your site - thought it was very playful! Great stuff. I have to run but I'll come back and maybe input more on your idea - and welcome to buzztouch! David buzztouchmods.com

Thank you David. I was preparing my video(ppt presentation) for the kickstarter.com to get money to hire the developer, but they declined the project because the app I want to create is a self-help sort. Anyway, I am thinking of hiring the developer at my expense and for this I have to learn myself the process of creating the app, so I know what to request. Since I used to deal with databases in my past I know something about databases, and want my app be universal and flexible. I am still pondering on the architecture and logic of my app, so that in the future I will reuse the same code for other titles (=other databases of the suggestions). For now I know my app won't just be that simple because I want the suggestions be editable for users. That is why I sense that for me it would be too difficult to use buzztouch. Or, maybe I mislead. Thank you and come back to me! Aigul/upparent

If you can handle the database part the app part should be easy. Fred

Hi Fred, I didn't mean that I can program the database part, because it was so many years ago. I said I understand the database relations part and as a user I will work on the content part of the database of suggestions/statements/affirmations, which are supposed to be coded as a stream of suggestions, in seven consequent categories (simple enough). I plan to work on collecting the data, sorting them, improving them and therefore will update the database often. But the app part, which I never did before looks so far difficult for me. Maybe if someone guides me through the buzztouch I would be able to create it myself? Maybe. right now I don't have any one to help me. So I ask you guys, maybe it is worth it to pay for this kind of help instead of the whole code writing? I don't know. Thanks anyway!
