iOS Simulator Not Working - No touch input at all

Hey everyone, I've compiled the app, unzipped it, and opened with xcode. When I click build and run, the simulator opens up with my "menu with buttons." The problem is that I can't click/touch anything! The app won't recognize any touch input (iphone or ipad simulation)- I'm not sure if I touched anything in xcode, as I've been working with it for months with buzztouch and everytime it's worked until a few minutes ago. I know touch input works in the simulator - because I opened the safari app and everything scrolled. Even on my basic helloworld apps I've made without buzztouch still register touch input and scrolling. This is not a prevent scroll issue, as nothing I click in the app registers at all! The menus I've made are connected to other screens - it was working before in the simulator. I'm so confused and frustrated! Why can't I click anything?

I think I've seen this happen before in one of my projects. I couldn't figure it out, so I deleted the app from my iOS Simulator and rebuilt it, which then reinstalls it on the simulator. Worked fine from that point. Mark

I had this exact problem - as it turned out, there was a space in one of my background image names. I think I had it as "iPhone retina.png" - I changed it to "iPhone_retina.png". and the issue was fixed. Here's my post about it - http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=B245433B1393D1A8EC97530 actually, it was GoNorthWest who figured it out for me - thanks again! :P

Sweet! So many things cause so many different problems...hard to keep track! But hopefully it's the same issue. Mark

just worth noting. Once my iOS simulator stopped functioning, the app would load then id just get a black screen. I spent way to much time looking at code, trying to troubleshoot, browsing the internet for solutions. I couldnt figure it out, was working fine the last time. I was very, very close to deleting my app and recompiling. Turns out my mac has not had a re-boot in over a month. Rebooted my mac and everything worked fine again!

Thanks everyone, after changing all .png names I just had to start all over, haven't run into anything like it again though!
