Buttons disappear on iPad portrait

Working with the button menu in 2.0, I have set the row of buttons to all scroll on the right side of the screen. On the iPad, the buttons display just right in landscape, but disappear in portrait. I am using a tab bar in the app--not sure if that makes a difference or not. Thanks!

When you say disappear, Do you mean you can't see the buttons, as in they're not there, try tapping around to see if they're just invisible in case you've use clear for button color. Fred

Good question! I played with it a bit, and if you open the app in portrait, the buttons are there. Then if you move the app to landscape they are still there. (They are always there in landscape.) Then, when you move it back to portrait, they disappear. So the problem only happens when the app is in landscape, and the user changes the iPad to portrait. Any ideas?

No...I had used it in other places in the app, but it isn't there now. Any other ideas? I have a black background with a background image on top of it.

Did you add the images to both large & small devices? Fred

Hey, I think I know what is causing the double posting! I have two copies of buzztouch up and running because I am cutting and pasting from one project to another. You all probably already knew that. All of the images are in Xcode--they are displaying in landscape, so I know they are there.

My question is in the control panel did you use both large & small device image setting. Fred

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean in Manage Core Properties->Allow/Prevent Rotation? That is set to "Only large devices allow rotation". Or do you mean in Xcode, in Summary->iPad Deployment Info? I haven't touched those settings.

In the screen settings. When you entered the image name.

Ok. I think I figured out a workaround. When I turned off the tab bar, the problem goes away. The problem is that I really could use the tab bar on this app because I have so much content. The tab bar must not work with the buttons menu--the extra space for the tab bar must throw off the placement of the buttons.
