Hi guys No matter what I do I cannot get any pages that contain Work Docs/Powerpoints Docs etc to work on Buzztouch .. I have done exactly ( well I think I have :P ) what the lessons have told me (including copying the files to both the Xcode and projoect DOCS folder) and still I get the same error message.. I have tried all the different Powerpoint file extensions possible and still no different The message I get when trying to access the added page on the iphone simulator is "Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection" Any help to fix this problem I am having would be much appreciated As to the Buzztouch site, you guys have done the most amazing job :)

Hi @Sassy, Welcome to buzztouch! Any chance you are using .docx or .pptx formats? I've only been able to get .doc and .ppt formats to work. Mark

Heya North and thanks for replying I have tried all the formats and just no luck :( I have tried 5 or 6 different DOCs that I have made also to no avail

Are there any space of strange characters in the doc name? I would use a _ or - in place of a space, and avoid any strange characters. If you can send me the dataURL for your project, which you can find in your BT_Config.txt file, I can take a look. MrkFleming at gmail dot com Mark

Hi North Sorry I didnt get that email to you but I had to go away for work... Last night I managed to get Word.doc to work but still no luck with any ppt :( All good I will keep on trying

Hmmm that thought did cross my mind but then left my mind again :P Will give that a go... Problem is though is I wanted to have sound with some of my ppt's and am not sure if PDF allows that ?

I don't think you can have sound with a PDF, but I would be surprised if it worked with PPT in an app. But, never tried it! What sort of error do you see in the Xcode console when it tries to load the PPT? Mark

Are you trying to access the file via a URL? If so, have you verified that the URL works? If all that looks good, I'll try and see if it works for me in my Xcode. Is this BT 1.5 or 2? Also...if you could send the ppt, that might be helpful. You can send it to MrkFleming at gmail dot com. We'll get this figured out! Mark
