IOS Source Code Testing

Hello Testers, I have been working on a app, and recently downloaded the source code prepared by buzz touch. Once I tested it in XCODE I received many errors on the build. I am using an old version XCODE, and wondering if that could have been the problem. The app is not completely finished by any means just beginning stages. So, if someone would test the source code and provide feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. As right now I am running OS X SL on Virtual Box, and I am trying to get everything upgraded. Thanks in advance for your help. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cwbvg345k77gyg9/cardinalconnect_v20_iOS.zip Thanks, Daniel

I have received a number of warnings but they do not stop you from being able to un the app. They also do not keep you from being able to archive and submit the app.

GB78, Thanks for your comment, but I was receiving about 571 errors. So, I wanted to make sure if it was the design or the outdated XCODE. Thanks, Daniel

Hi guys...for sure you don't want to bother trying to compile with warnings / errors show up. The compile will "let you" compile with warnings only (no errors) but it's still not a good idea. There should not be any warnings or errors after downloading the project. It's especially telling that there were "hundreds" of them mentioned. For sure this has something to do with the Xcode setup on that machine. I can't imagine how bad this would all be if EVERYONE had hundreds of errors with every download. Laughing a bit. I'm sure there's a simple solution to whatever you're experiencing and it's going to be a matter of getting Xcode setup.

@tazmanian19: Download and test what source code? It sounds like you've got an Xcode issue, this isn't something anyone can download for you.

David, Thanks for reply, I understand I am the only one who can download the source code, so this why I posted a link to my dropbox that contains the exact source code package. So, I could see if someone with updated XCODE had the same issues. I am working on resolving the XCODE issue, as MAC OS can be sticky when running on virtualbox or vmware. Thanks, Daniel

Thanks for all the replies, it was the XCODE causing all the errors. Thanks, Daniel
