If my App have more than 3000 views per month?

I have a basic BT account, and my cuestion is about the basic limitation accounts. I had maked my firs App and Im sending my App via Adhoc, its for IOs an Android but the counter says there are almost 2000 views and I dont know what will hapen wen my App be accepted for AppStore. Will my App only have 3000 views, even If the App are allocated at AppStore? Sorry about my bad english, thank you.

No worries about the bad english, mine is bad too! The idea is that if your app is connected to the buzztouch backend (not all are) and "refreshes" itself over and over again, the view count will go up. The View Count rises when the app "reports to cloud and / or refreshes it's content." If you think you're app will exceed it's view count limit, you should... a) Plan to move the config.txt file to a different hosting server, like your own website. b) Setup your own self hosted server c) Upgrade your account to a plan that supports more monthly views. d) Set up the app to work without the need for a remotely hosted config.txt file. Lastly: We are not here to "turn off" any apps. If yours begins to get extraordinarily busy and is obviously exceeding it's account limitations, we'll work with you to figure out a plan before doing anything. It's not going to magically stop working.

David- That's a great explanation, thank you very much! Even though I didn't start this topic, I am getting a lot from it! :) When you say someone can have 3,000 views monthly, does that mean that in the case they exceed that, their users will be allowed to 'refresh' the app's content a month from the date that they exceed the 3,000 view limit? I am a little confused about what you mean by "monthly"... Thanks again!

Thank you David. Very useful for me your help and information. And thanks to BT for this great idea. Only hope more plugins will be able to use and we could make more powerful Apps. I´d like you consider to add a bar search plugin. Again thank you.

@TauquaDesign hey mate, means that once it's 3000 your limit has been reached, and will reset the following month. There are some awesome tutorials to get your config file offline, or you can support BT when the time comes! Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

@David - I would much rather support BT because I love what they are doing, but I don't have the money right now... :) But that makes sense, thanks for explaining. Have a great night!

Should have mentioned this earlier: The View Count in the control panel, the number you see today, is "all time views" and not a monthly view statistic. It really should be a monthly count and re-set on the apps monthly start date. This would give you a much better idea of how busy it is on a monthly basis. We'll get this updated soon. All Time seemed more appropriate before we introduced the limitations associated with each account type. In the past this worked great, today, it's only partially useful. We'll get it updated eventually.

For me paying buzztouch a tiny 19.99 per month for this awesome software with 500,000 views per month and 100 screens was a no brainer. If any apps i make become so popular i have to go self hosted then that's something i will have no problem doing when the time comes but for now im happy to support buzztouch.
