An Android screenshot utility. Adds screenshots to various Android device images to save and use on websites or when submitting to google play. Just drag an image from your desktop onto one of the phone image templates. You can rotate images, add drop shadows and screen shine. Generated image is a representation of a real view, so if you want to see how splashscreens or full size images look on a variety of devices this will do a decent job. You can right click to save the generated image or left click the image to open a full screen view, then right click to save. Tested and working fine in Firefox, Opera and Chrome. Doesn't work in Safari, and it obviously goes without saying that it doesn't work in Internet Explorer. Fill in linklabel - 'screenshot generator' or whatever. 7. add: /files/custom/screenshotgenerator/index.php to 'LinkURL'. 8. Select 'Opens in Same Window'. 9. Hit submit. The screenshot generator is now in your users control panels. @nishad, are you sure you want to do that? Might annoy users, battery drain etc. Never tried it, but stackoverflow has a lot of methods. That link you posted above, one of the replies has 10 votes, it's probably the one to go with!

@ raved yup am sure coz its for video streaming...my apps screen goes locked..so its a problem

It would go in the activity you use to stream the videos, in the onCreate probably.

u mean BT_activity_base.java or BT_custom_html.java (coz my streaming link is embeded in html file)

Would be a better user experience in the BT_custom_html.java file I think. All your other html files will stay awake too though.

Wow this looks great. Very polished/pro looking tool to make shots for app promos. Big thanks for porting this over and integrating such a nice tool. I tried to install it (i'm still 2.1.6 SH) and it is launching but under my Step 1 where the devices should be displayed i'm seeing nothing. I copied the whole folder and see the device-frames subfolder on my server. Step 2 is right below it and populated. Not sure where to look/think next.... I would also love to add the iphone shots into the mix too. Looking at the files i see it's just images/templates so they could probably add it I would think? Perhaps they don't want that Apple 'stuff' in their Android project? LOL This is really like a quasi device database and the #1 reason I jumped on it was because of the screen with the devices and the resolutions listed. That's a really nice graphical represetnation of the different devices. Great tool/add - maybe i'll tinker when I get time to get it working, maybe i need to be 2.1.7 or something else I missed.

Hi ATRAIN53, thanks for the comments, glad you like it! What browser are you using? The mod doesn't work in Safari or IE. The server version shouldn't make a difference. Browsers were the only cause of any issues I came across in displaying the images. So it may be the browser or possibly the directory location of your server? All the url's in the code are relative based on an unmodified server install, if you've moved stuff around or renamed directories it could cause a problem. Or maybe even if it's in a sub-directory not the root? Not sure. You MAY need to change some paths in the index.php. Can't see why you can't add more device shots, but you'll also need to modify the js file in the js directory, and the inline js in the index.php file. Let me know if you decide to add more, it's something I'm looking into too.
