Buzzcast Episode 06 submitted!

After a much needed week off, I just updated the Buzzcast feed, so it should be propagating out to whatever service you use to subscribe. You can right click on the podcast title in iTunes (on a computer) and tell it up "Update Podcast" to manually force it to check. This episode I discuss using cloud services to help with your workflow when developing. I was also supposed to include an interview, but after rambling on for so long talking about everything else, I decided to hold the interview until the next episode. If you are not subscribed, here is a link for itunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/buzzcast/id537332737 Episode 06 Shownotes: http://idevdepot.com/episode06/ Enjoy!

Hi Chris, Great episode! Lots of awesome options to consider. One other cloud service I've been playing around with is called Cubby, offered by LogMeIn. Haven't done much with it, but it seems interesting. One point I would add about DropBox is that, for shared folders, the amount of data they put in those folders counts against your limit as well. So, if a customer shares a folder, and puts in 10Mb of files, that 10Mb counts against their limit, as well as yours, since the files get copied over to your account. I've run out of space sharing files with people this way, when they forget to remove them to a local folder! Also...DropBox has a good way of exluding folders for syncing. I do this when syncing to my Mac, because all I want there are my app files. Nothing else needs to get synced, and that saves hard drive space on the Mac. Anyway, just a couple of thoughts! Thanks again for your time and effort on the Buzzcast...I thoroughly enjoy listening to each episode! Mark
