Gamecenter v 1.5 vs v 2.0

Hi I'm following the v 1.5 tutorial for integrating gamecenter and I'm noticing some things that do not even apply for my v 2.0 app. For example, the tutorial says Above “//scoreboard button shows if we have it ‘on’ and if a scoreboardURL is provided,” add: //Submit Score Button [finishedButtons addObject:NSLocalizedString(@”quizSubmitScore”, @”Submit Score”)]; yet in the file, there is no such thing as //scoreboard button shows... This happened two times so far. Is this because you fine-tuned the 2.0 to not include any unnecessary code? also what other things should I be wary of for my 2.0 app for gamecenter? thanks

In the "-(void)quizEnded{" saction, put this: //Submit Score Button [finishedButtons addObject:NSLocalizedString(@"quizSubmitScore", @"Submit Score")]; Right above: //try again button... [finishedButtons addObject:NSLocalizedString(@"quizTryAgain", @"Try Again")];

Thanks MGoBlue!! Now this is weird- the app is working perfectly on the iphone simulator. I log in with my sandbox account, I complete the quiz & the leaderboard works and I can see scores. Yet, when I use the app on my actual iphone, things go berserk. First, a pop-up emerges saying that Gamecenter does not recognize this app. Then the leaderboard doesn't even show up. My iphone is perfectly normal & not jailbroken. I'm thinking this is happening because my app isn't live...

Try deleting the app on your phone, and place the fresh copy on it. The sandbox should work on the actual device as well.

Cool, it's working. The leaderboard won't show all the scores until the app is live right? It's just showing one score at a time which makes sense for sandbox.

Leaderboard should show up multiples if you create multiple sandbox accounts. But to answer you question sandbox should work in full Just like if it was In the app store.
