Menu Item Highlighting

Hi Guys, Just a little issue, hopefully a quick one. When navigating through the app's simple menus, the item you tap highlights as it moves through to the next screen, however when you click "back" and it returns to the menu screen before it, the navigation bar remains highlighted until you tap something else on the screen. Hopefully this is easy to fix, as honestly it is bugging me a bit. Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, Hopefully an easy fix! * Go to your app's Control Panel * Select the Menu List screen that you want to make the change to * Click on Advanced Properties for that screen (near the bottom) * Click on "Menu List Layout, Color" * Set "Row Select Style" to "None" That should eliminate the row highlight that occurs when you tap on it! Mark

just to show you, as you can see here, the button isnt being pressed and held, but the menu item is remaining highlighted.

Is that before or after you applied the suggested change?

That is before the change, after the change there is no highlighting at all (obviously) I would prefer the highlighting for the user experience, however i think no highlighting would be better then leaving it the way it is (just seems tacky to me) Cheers, Dave

I'm sure there's a programmatic way (meaning, dive into the Objective C), but I don't know what it is. I'll investigate a bit and, if I find anything, post back! Mark

Thanks Mark, i was looking through the output console whilst moving through the menu to see if anything was flagged however there are no log events around the highlights. I appreciate you taking the time to help. Dave

Hi Dave, did you find the solution? I am trying to fix the same issue.
