iOS armv6 Errors...

I am getting this error after I installed Scringo. Running in a armv7 architecture I get 2 issues.... -The first error is because I have my deployment target set to 3.0 (if I change this to 4.2+ Xcode throws up a plethora (24 errors) of depreciation errors. -The second iPhone/iPod Touch: application executable is missing a required architecture. At least one of the following architecture(s) must be present: armv6 (-19033) Unable to validate your application. - (null) It will compile...just with those 2 issues but if I give it armv6 then it won't compile and gives me this error~ /Scringo.framework/Scringo, file is universal but does not contain a(n) armv6 slice for architecture armv6 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) However, the 2 issues do go away. Thanks

Fighting through the same issue right now. I'm also getting a ton of semantic issues and unused entity issues. I've tried build at different target levels. If I come up with anything, I'll let you know.

Well, I rolled the dice. Changed the targets to 4.3 compiled and submitted to Apple. We'll see. I had errors, primarily Unused Entities or Semantic Issues, but it compiled and ran. More importantly, it passed the initial quality check from Apple and uploaded.

Yeah would love to know when/if your apps go through with this, it would be great info for everyone to know. We'll see in 14 days? they have been very slow these past few months! Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

@david I know theses errors are from BT since it is compatible from 3.0 and up.....anyway on the BT side to remove these or would I have to rebuild the view controllers/plug-ins?

same problem here. I don't think the deprecation warnings are concerning although it would be nice to have an updated version from buzztouch without them. Also same issue with scringo. I just removed the armv6 architecture, probably not the best way to go about this but it compiled. But now have issues with the scringo discovert layer. It works great when first installs but if I refresh or close the app and come back I just get a black screen.

@mutzy I would be happy to take a look at your Scringo implementation...I don't have any problems with mine other then the 9 depreciation errors. I was also able to add the Facebook login button as well.

I received the same 9 depreciation errors in one of my BT apps after changing the target to 4.3 to workaround the armv6 issue. My app was approved by Apple and works fine without any issues. I'm not sure exactly what the 9 depreciation errors effect, but it doesn't seem to hinder the apps functionality at all. I also feel that iOS version 4.3 and above is probably 90% or more of the current iOS devices. If someone is still on iOS 4.2 or older they probably don't know how to install an app anyways.
