Presuming you d/l the ADT and SDK as well click on "New" not "New Android Project" - then click on "Project" then click to expand Android in the list that opens. You should see the option "Android Project From Existing Code." Hope that helps :) Aaron

I think another way would be as follows: 1. Create a new project. File > New > Android Project 2. Enter a project name 3. Choose "Create a project from existing source"

Thanks OWC I have d/l the ADT and SDK, however when i follow the instructions given in your first post i am able to see the option "Android Project From Existing Code." If i load the project with this method i am getting errors. The errors are in src folders of the project. if i follow your second post there is no option "Create a project from existing source." is there anything else i have to do

The option you want is import existing project (not android project). I get to this by right clicking over the left hand list in Eclipse.

Hello, Welcome to buzztouch! I have a much better, more complete guide that will address this question and more! Check it out: http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/buzztouch_For_Android-A_Users_Guide.pdf In a nutshell, though..doing the File...Import...Existing Project is the best way to go. It's how I do it, and have never had any problems. Just make sure your source package is unzipped first. Mark

Thanks for the feedback. Finally, i got my app working on Eclipse. The real problem is that i was not able to select the built. So i was getting errors. Now what i did was i imported the project has explained by GoNorthWest, and when the project is loaded into eclipse (with about 100 errors pertaining to src folder of the project) i right click on the package explorer then click >Built path> configure built path>Android (from the menu) then change the radio button to Google API 8, by default the selection will be to Android 2.2

Hi I have been following this feed as I am having the same problems with errors with the project going into eclipse. I have imported the project as GoNorthWest mentioned I have also changed to Google API's platform 1.6 level 4 as SrikarSree has and I am still getting the following 6 errors. Two of the errors appear to have come up twice??? error: Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name '@android:style/Theme.Holo.Light'.error: Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name '@android:style/Theme.Holo'.error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name: attr 'android:windowActionBar'.error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name: attr 'android:windowActionBar'The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for android.app.Fragment. Fix the build path then try building this projectThe type android.app.Fragment cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files I have the same project working as an IOS in xcode with no problems at all. I did change in buzztouch the font to Noteworthy throughout the project I'm not sure if this causes issues??? Please help

Hi Lady Di, First off, if you've recently downloaded your project files, you need to be using the Android 3.0 API instead of the Google ones. Check the readme file in the root folder of your download package. Make sure that's all resolved, and we can go from there. Keep in mind that the device you're running your app on has to have the Noteworthy font in it, otherwise you may have errors. Mark

Thank you!! Yes that was the problem needed to be using Android 3.0 API app now running however the noteworthy font has not come through? but is not causing errors at this stage either. Is there a way to make the noteworthy font work?

Hello, Glad you got the API thing worked out! I'm assuming that you're using the Custom HTML plugin, and selecting the font there. Noteworthy is one of the default fonts available on iOS, but it is not available on Android. Viewers in Android will get the default font, which I believe it Roboto (or Droid or something). As I understand it, developers can include their own fonts with their apps, but that's not something I know how to do. I'm sure some time spent Googling it will yield an answer! But, if you're fine with it just reverting to the default for the time being, it certainly won't prevent your app from working. Mark

Thank you for your help Mark. I think default font is the safest bet :)
