Which version of eclipse??

Hi all, I know this totally sounds like a novice question but I can't even seem to be able to open eclipse! I was following the Android Guide, but I think I may not have the right version. I'm running windows 7 on amd phenom. I download eclipse classic 4.2 but doesn't seem to work. Should I have downloaded the Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers? Thanks for the help, sooo exciting to get things running finally and put my ideas into code and to share! - Khalid

4.2 is good (its the latest), classic is good. You should use the 32 bit version of possible less problems but use 32 bit JAVA also. In my how-to, The Buzztouch Process, www.MySkylla.com you'll find some tools to diagnose any eclipse problems. Fred

Thanks for the speedy response guys! I think I figured it out though finally. My bit versions weren't matched correctly, so that must have been the issue LOL. Thank you both again! It's good to know that help is right around the corner. - Khalid
