Noobie needing help, please

Hi all, just signed up with BuzzTouch, and I'm having a problem before even getting started. I've confirmed my email address through the Buzztouch Welcome email (about 20 times now) but when I go into my account to start up a new app I keep getting the message "You cannot create a new app because you have not confirmed your email address". I've gone through come of the training courses and can otherwise navigate the site fine. On one occassion while at my work computer I managed to get past this stage and start an app, but the next time I tried to get back into the app section (using the same computer)I got the same error message. I haven't been able to get back in since. Any advice? Thanks, Matthew

Hi in Leidschendam, very cool! Problem: You registered to use the service twice, using two different email address. The email address are very very similar but not the same. One of these account has an email address that has been confirmed. The other has an email address that is unconfirmed. I'm guessing that you're logging into the account with the unconfirmed email address. It's not much of a guess, I know you are, wink ;-) Confusion like this is exactly the reason we don't allow duplicate accounts - it never works as expected. I would log into the account you don't want and use the Cancel Account link. Next, find the email we sent to the account you do want and click the link to confirm the address. Not sure if you realized this or not?

Thanks David. I did try to register with both variations of my yahoo account (*.yahoo.com and *.yahoo.co.uk) at different times, but I thought that only one account had actually been created. Sorry about that. Thanks for the quick response - I'll give it another go. Fred and Mark - thanks for your comments as well. Matt

Hi David, I have canceled the one account, and retained the one that has all my completed courses and points. I seem to have permanently deleted the welcome email associated with this account though. Any chance of requesting another email be sent so that I can confirm my email? Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience. Matthew
