adding media?

Hi help, have looked at all I could find on this and am a little confused Doing an app for son in law, hypnotist. and need to add audio and video to the app so it plays offline Similar apps I researched, in menu just open a page where the player shows play then opens, plays and shows controls Is it a native function, sorry head is spinning with all the info just read thanks Rod

From discussions i have read, im pretty sure you have to add the media files into the project folder under its respective directories and then 'drag' into xcode - someone will have to confirm this as im not 100% sure Dave

thanks yes i can ad the files , but want to know if a player is needed to display the functions or does an mp3 play with native functions will practice and see how it goes

On IOS devices it plays with native player. On android if you dont tell it then it will play with the native player but may not work on all devices. You can tell it to use 3rd party players for Android. Most Android users have a 3rd Party app installed because the native one is a little limted. Hope that helps...
