Google APIs 2.2/8

I am attempting to import my first app into eclipse, but the only options offerred are Android 4.1 and 16. As a result I get an error "Unable to resolve target 'Google Inc.: Google APIs 8'. I have looked through the other posts but cannot see this mentioned so is this a recent update to eclipse or am I missing something else?

OK I've now looked back at the instructions PDF and found the answer!

Hi @hughe, Welcome to buzztouch! Glad you were able to figure this out yourself! Good job! Here's a doc that describes the whole Android deal from start to finish. It may come in handy later. http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/buzztouch_For_Android-A_Users_Guide.pdf Mark

Thanks Mark. Yes I've found the user guide and it's most helpful. Hugh

Hi Northwest. I am new to buzztouch. Maybe it is early to be asking this question, but why is BT 2.0 limited to API 8, 2.2? Does this mean I cannot develop for my 4.1 device?

Hi @ProductZ, Welcome to buzztouch! The Google API is not a limit, rather it's a minimum level. I've tested it with the newer Google APIs and have not had any problems. You are free to choose the newer levels if you wish! Mark
