The problem i have, the Config file (with the changes) doesn't load when somebody download the app for the App Store, i've to make a change in the control panel then the app reload and load the new config. I was reading in the forum about the config load "When the app launches for the "first time" it DOES NOT check for a new version of the config.txt file on the server." But my app never check the upgrades until i make a change in the control panel. There is any way to put a button in the app that refresh de config/data?, or any idea why my app doesn't load the new config in the second time i open it ? Tnks for all! The app compares the time stamp to determine if there has been a modification. When the app is just downloaded the timestamp the report2CloudURL is grabbing is the timestamp of your last modification. The app grabs this timestamp. Next time you open the app the app compares the timestamp and says, "Hey I got the latest copy so there's no need to update". Tnks for the answer Fred, I've the app submited in the app store, if i upload a new map location in the control panel, the refresh button show's if i have the app in my iPad / iPhone installed, but if i download the app, i cant see the new map location and the refresh button doesn't show, until i go to the control panel and click in a Save button o make any change. The problem i've, if i upload a new client into the submited app, they have to wait until i make another change in the app, so they receive all the new content. And in the app, there is a lot of maps that now are full of point locations, but if you download the app and i dont make any change, all the maps are empty. In my personal experience, I believe on an ios app, you can put a refresh button on the home page by including a navigation bar on that page. It will have a refresh on the bar.
