Total n00b asking totally n00b questions...

Hi evrybody. I've got a bunch of questions here. What it is buzztouch.com actually does after a submittance to either app store? Is something stored on a buzztouch server? And what is that? Im referring to the "App view" limits you can upgrade if nessesary. If one chooses the self hosting deal, what will I be paying for then? If an app were submitted to appstore/ google play, will I get a notice if the app view limit is exeeded, so potential reviews don't plummet due to dissatisfied customers? And lastly, if I coded an app not using buzztouch and submitted it myself, what would I be missing out on? As I say, total noob here, hope you'll bear with me.:) -Z

What it is buzztouch.com actually does after a submittance to either app store? Depends, Is your app online or offline (online allows real time modifications to app) Did you use the Custom HTML Text screen (online html doc) Is something stored on a buzztouch server? Online Config file by default (you can move it) And what is that? Im referring to the "App view" limits you can upgrade if nessesary. If one chooses the self hosting deal, what will I be paying for then? The ability to use the Buzztouch API key. The Buzztouch API key allows you to download the source code. If an app were submitted to appstore/ google play, will I get a notice if the app view limit is exeeded, so potential reviews don't plummet due to dissatisfied customers? View limit is high enough that you don't need to worry about it until you have a best seller. No limit if self-hosting. And lastly, if I coded an app not using buzztouch and submitted it myself, what would I be missing out on? Buzztouch doesn't submit app, that's your job. Fred

Hi Z, Welcome to buzztouch! @Fred did a decent job of answering your questions, but wanted to expand on one. You asked: "And lastly, if I coded an app not using buzztouch and submitted it myself, what would I be missing out on?" A LOT! Personally, I think buzztouch is the best app making service around. It has a huge number of plugins available for different functions...the interface for designing your app is great...the community rocks...and, best of all in my opinion, you get all your source code to do what with you please. That means you can take the framework provided by buzztouch and modify it in any way you see fit. All the hard work has already been done for you! That, in my book, is huge. I've tried a number of sites for building apps, and NONE come even close to buzztouch. I think after you spend some time here, you'll see what I mean. Mark
