I have my Android Maps API key, but were do I put it. Yeah I know it's a stupid question but I have no idea. I have read that it goes into the strings.xml but these 2 entries do not seem to be right do I create a new entry for the map api. <string name="googleMapsAPIKeyDebug">yourGoogleMapsKeyForDebug</string> <stringname="googleMapsAPIKeyRelease">yourGoogleMapsKeyForRelease</string> Regards R0dd0 Title Comments Hello new starter here. I have the MD5 fingerprint and used that to get my Android Maps API key. But I still need a GoogleMapsKeyForDebug and a GoogleMapsKeyForRelease were and how do I get them, all the info I have read seems to only describe how to get the first two I have... I just can't seem to get my head around this yet ... I should have picked an easier App type to start with but the maps idea just sucked me in. I deleted everything and reworked my BuzzApp from scratch to a simpler version.. Now I at last get map App to run on the Eclipse emulator. The problem was self inflicted :) Cheers R0dd0 PS.
