When you first select new-Android project and add your project you click next not finish and it gives you the options. When in the workspace i think you click windows option at the top of eclipse then preferences, select android project and it should be there. Not in front of pc at moment as at work. sure someone will correct if im wrong hope this helps

You can do it to an existing project. In eclipse, right click on the app name to look at the app properties. From the Properties dialogue, select Android on the left hand list; the list of all the API versions is then presented in the right hand pane and you can select the one you need. Alan

If you are switching from Google API to Android API, then you need to remove the Google Maps function from your Android app. I wrote up a tutorial on how to do that: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=009D5ED602E8D09C55D6225 Mark

Thanks for all the help, got things working. Very impressed so far. My app works well on the emulator but not on my phone. I get "A problem loading app's configuration data". I have done a search and read and can't see anything wrong. I will try from home and see if it works better there than from work. cheers

Not sure on where to post this. I have finished my app but it is not put up for public use yet as it is a specialized app for parents of students that attend the High School where I work. I now need to get the management team at school to check that it is ok and I will be able to put it up on our school website. The app is a simple menu that list key personel in the school and their forms of contact, ie phone and email. The user just needs to click on the person and then what option they want, phone or email and the plugin kicks in and fills in phone number or email. This saves parents having to enter in this information into contacts. When the child has finished school the delete the app and don't have to worry about cleaning out their contacts. The app also has a simple info screen about the school and term dates. My next one will be for students which will display their exam timetables. I want to thank the buzztouch team for creating this resource and to the members that have contributed the many hints, tips and docs that I have read. Cheers
