I am brand new and totally lost

I just started using buzztouch today with the goal of turning my website into an app. My website is similar to 9gag where people basically share pictures. My question is if I want to turn my website into an app (ex: have all the pictures on my website show up to my app and get updated as I update my website) what are the possible steps I should take and where I should start off.

Welcome to buzz touch! Before you start developing, You may want to read this: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.0.pdf There are many plugins, so making your website mobile will be a great adventure. For photos, you may want to use Flickr, most users use that in there app. All the tutorials are located at http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/ Raoul FreeAppMonster.com

Some plugins are for self hosted servers, and will not show up there, they are submitted, and displayed on a friendly site that is maintained by Mr.David: buzztouchmods.com

Hi @bosspal, Welcome to buzztouch! Before you start designing your app in buzztouch, I think you should spend some time figuring out what you would want it to look like and do. Since you're here and ready to work, it tells me that you're probably already familiar with different types of apps. So... * What is the first thing you want your users to see when they open the app? A single screen with a sweet graphic? A menu list? A button menu? * Do you want a tabbed layout, or just have everything off a single home screen? * When somebody submits an image, where does it go? Flickr? * I'm assuming you'll want a photo gallery of all the images? Will they be random, or perhaps by category? * How do you want them to submit the image? Via email? A form they fill out and it gets submitted to a database? Those are the sorts of things you need to get a handle on before you actually start the design process. It'll then make it much easier to put things together. Also...are you wanting to do Anroid, iOS, or both? If iOS, do you have a Mac? Are you willing/able to pay the $99/yr for the Apple Developer membership? The $25 one-time fee to Google Play? Are you going to charge for your app? Make it free and add ads? All things to think about! Let us know what you come up with, and we can go from there! Mark

I have a mac and I am willing to pay the developers fee.. And also for the images, they will not be uploaded directly to the app but to my website which is http://www.22g.ca/ and I want my app to be like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhMgjoqR8Es If you know of any steps or tutorials i shoud view that would help a lot.. THANK YOU

That app to me looks mostly like an HTML page. That would be pretty easy to do, and there is already a screen plugin available for that. Sounds like you are starting with iOS? Here's what you need to know to get started: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.0.pdf The best way to learn is to play around and see how things looks. All the screens are pretty self-explanatory in what they do, and now they are configured. Once you have an idea of how you want the app to flow, you should have no problem piecing together the different plugins! Mark

You could create an image gallery that syncs with the images you have on your website. Or, you could use a custom URL screen, and plug in your current URL, and see how that looks. I'm not trying to be evasive or vague here...just trying to steer you in the right direction so you can figure out some of this stuff yourself! Or, you could hire somebody on the forum to do the whole thing for you! The great thing about buzztouch is that its very intuitive, so if you just mess around, you'll pick things up quickly! Mark

If you create an html image gallery on your website you can link to it from your app. Fred
