Plugins for Launching Native Apps.

Hi...I'm new... and I am trying to figure out how to get the "Launch Native App" plugin into one of my pages on my app. I am not sure how to use the code...and which part to use...and where to put it? Any Advice?

Here's how you can make Instagram work. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=12B5F7131C2EEB33264A84B&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=instagram&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= as long as the app supports a Custom URL scheme, you can use this technique/plugin. this is a good reference site i've used to test and play with them http://wiki.akosma.com/IPhone_URL_Schemes and you can make your own URL scheme for your own app to. google it. this is how you *could* link 2 of your own apps together if you wanted. maybe that might be of use with tech manuals/guides for different cars/years, etc for you Isillis?

unfortunately no http:// URL scheme for the good stuff like the Calendar, Camera, Audio/Video player. Those are not 'apps' nor would they be '3rd party' apps. That's native ios stuff. This Launch 3rd party BT plug-in is designed to work with a URL scheme only to launch 3rd party stuff. apps you install on your phone that support the scheme. go with Google calendar anyways. you get the back end to admin the calenadr anywhere. make a public calendar. everyone using your app can then access it and you can even have multiple calendars in the same app. i played with using ical and the ios cal in some apps. it's weaksauce compared to google cal IMO. the agenda view on a mobile formatted HTML page looks pretty good.

Thank you @atrain. Have not the slightest clue as to what a URL Scheme is and the wiki doesn't seem to tell you anything but I appreciate the ideas. Thank you

Hey there, @ATRAIN53, you mentioned that you have been using the ios cal in some apps. could you give me a pointer on where i could get an idea on how to do that? I see the benefits of using google calendar but for my current project using ical would be the better choice. Thank you!
